After what seemed like the longest drive we made it to Niagra Falls. We got to the hotel at night and it was really old. There were no renovations and it seemed like they wanted to preserve its history…also Marvin Gaye was staying there too. We saw him as we were checking in and I think one of my parents spoke with him. The hotel didn’t have hot water, it smelled like grandmas, the utilities were falling apart, the sheets were scratchy, and it was overpriced. It had a Denny’s inside of it and was SUPER close to the border so I guess that’s why…
It was quite cold as you can tell. I tried to take Polaroids with my Instax while I was up there even though I knew that they wouldn’t develop correctly. My mom would take the picture, I would have to catch it before it blew away, then I stuck it in my pocket because that was the warmest place I could reach with frozen fingers that didn’t want to cooperate.
It didn’t work out lol but I at least I tried!

We had to take a bus to the other side of the falls. I didn’t know that there were like 3 parts to it…
There was so much ice from this point of view so we kept walking.
And then we went to Canada!

Canadian money is so cool. It’s holographic and feels really nice~ We basically shopped because we didn’t have a lot of time to spend there after we spent most of the day at the falls. The last picture is at a beer store. My brother wanted to try Canadian beer so they bought a variety of them and brought it back to the States. Yes, it’s legal to do that.
Also, your car has to be checked at the border as well as your passports. Standard stuff. I brought both of my pepper sprays with me and they both got taken away 😦
That’s all I have for this part of the trip so…
