Hey there.

I titled this post as such because I’m unsure of how often I will be able to update this blog. A lot of you should know by now that I am studying abroad in 3 days. I am focusing my blogging on my study abroad blog: https://priscillainfrance.wordpress.com/ and I have been invited to be a student blogger for my program’s official blog, so I have to update there weekly about my experience. http://blog.aifsabroad.com/journals/

In addition to those 2 blogs being updated somewhat (and what I hope) regularly from me, I have also been playing with Final Cut Pro. Depending on the wifi connection that I have access to (my host family could not have wifi at all) I want to upload weekly videos onto my youtube channel. If you don’t see any videos from me or less frequent blog posts on my 2 other blogs then you know that the wifi sucks where I live…

In the meantime, this is the first video that I’ve edited on Final Cut Pro. If anyone would like to help me understand what settings I need for a SONY DSC-WX9 using AVC HD 24M (FX) [1920×1080 60i] I would appreciate you so much! I initially used the Quicktime conversion setting with 1080 for the size, deinterlaced, and best quality when exporting, but YouTube literally took 13 hours to upload 55% of the video… Now I’m using the FLC setting with 24 fps and the only thing that bothers me is the lines on the video when there is movement…I don’t know how to deinterlace using this setting so help would be awesome.

Also, don’t misread the title. I am more than ready to leave America.

Later Sweethearts,
